I am a Nigerian and under 18 years of age. Can I apply to become a member of NIDOE-Portugal and what are the other conditions?
Answer: Only when you are 18 years and above and resident in Portugal. You must also be a professional, academician or entrepreneur with proven track records, law abiding and you must complete application form and meet all financial obligations of the organization.
What are the benefits available for me if I become a member?
Answer: Please kindly refer to the benefits section under Membership
Is it possible for me to be a member of another organizations (not NIDO) at the same time am a member of NIDOE-Portugal?
Answer: Yes. It is possible, provided the objectives of such organizations are not in conflict with aims and objectives of NIDOE-Portugal. However, you may not hold top positions in more the ONE organization simultaneously.
What of if I relocate?
Answer: Upon relocation, your membership is still valid as the chapter in your new location will automatically accept you as one of its members provided you have met all financial obligations and a referral letter from your former chapter are provided.
What is the Schengen Area and what are the countries included?
Answer: The Schengen Area is a group of 26 European countries that have abolished passport and immigration controls at their common borders. With a resident permit from Portugal, the investor is entitled to enter and travel freely throughout all the countries of the Schengen area. The Schengen Area includes the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.
Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia are currently candidate countries to the Schengen Area.
